Life in Death Valley

 

Death Valley is a land of tremendous contrast. It contains the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere situated between soaring mountain peaks, and is one of the hottest, driest places on earth. Ever yet, life is still somehow fostered in this most extreme place, a place treacherous yet sustaining.
